Maestro Casino

Maestro is a debit card service that was created in 1992 as part of an initiative of MasterCard Worldwide. Like most debit cards, Maestro cards allows the cardholder to withdraw funds from ATM’s or make purchases both physically in store and online.

In the EU and other countries Maestro is MasterCard’s main debit card and is their equivalent to Visa’s electron card. It is accepted at around 15 million outlets with a point of sale and is one of the only few remaining debit cards whose details can be manually punched into a point of sale machine.

How does Maestro work?

Maestro is a reliable and fast way to pay for goods and services as well as withdraw from ATM’s around the world and also deposit at online casinos. It’s accepted in over 100 countries and is particularly popular in Europe.

Since it’s an official debit card it follows the same protocol as a Visa debit or equivalent. When a payment is made, an authorization request is sent to the cardholder’s bank and the transaction is approved if there are sufficient funds in the account. The card has a chip and 4-digit pin function and debits are instant.
