How does WebMoney work?
In order to use this system you have to first sign up for it online. It’s a very simple process that includes sending your personal information and verifying your mobile phone number. Once this is done you the select the currency for your e-Wallet and this can either be Euros, Dollars or a variety of others. After this you receive a number not unlike a bank account number. This 12 digit number allows you to login to the system and use its various features. Once an e-Wallet is generated it needs to be topped up with the currency of your choice and they allow you to do this in a variety of ways including bank transfer, internet banking and via an ATM.
Almost all transactions made using WebMoney incur a 0.8% transaction fee. You can move funds from the e-wallet into a real bank account also. WebMoney uses a tiered system of accessing its features and there are four levels of access with the most basic allowing you to setup your account to the top tier granting you access to all the features available on their site as well as special promotion and discounts via various partners.
