The world of online gaming just took on another new talent by the name of 4ThePlayer. A new online casino software company that has been in the business since July 2018. Still very much in their first stages of being an established game maker, we take a look at their business to share with you their practice, gaming, ideas and how they are pitching their might against the rest of the gaming industry.
Software: Made by Players for Players
4ThePlayer is, for all intense and purpose, a new developer. Two years is nothing when it comes to the years it takes to make it in such an industry. Their focus is purely set on mobile-first games in the gambling sector. They make slot machines as well as stunning and innovative table games.
Their company ethos and mission is to create the most exciting games possible for players to enjoy. Simple! Nothing over the top and to the point.
They want to make their games exciting for gamblers by using the best algorithms possible.
To offer concise gaming mechanics for engagement so nothing is confusing.
They believe in responsible gameplay of the highest standards and will set out to protect players using their products.
They also consider themselves to be innovative, wanting to push themes and designs, offering new experiences via the creation of new game features.
All their games treat players like the adults they are, with no childish designs – Hooray!!!
4ThePlayer was formed by two founders that had previous experience in the past. With a rolodex of contacts in the industry, they knew exactly what to do to get the business off the ground.
Running the show are Chris Ash, formerly of Ash Gaming and Andrew Porter who was Content Director at Playtech.
For the first year in business for any software company, it’s all about the networking side of things. Their first slot wasn’t even released until the tail end of 2019. So far, the signs are good for growth and development.
Games: Slotting into the Market
In 2020, 4ThePlayer were shortlisted as Software Rising Star that the EGR B2B Awards. In 2019 they came second place for the Best Online Slot Award by Online-Slot. So, the first two years have looked good and promising for this UK start-up developer.
To date, 4ThePlayer has created 6 games, two currently pending release.
2 Gods: Zeus Vs. Thor™
6 Wild Sharks™
100 Bit Dice™
1000x Busta™
9k Yeti™
1 Left Alive: Plus Ways™
Their biggest success so far is 9k Yeti. In this game you are on a climb of Mount Everest, already a new theme. With the game comes free spins and a guaranteed win feature called the Snowstorm. The free spins can return up to 88 in number and activate re-spins. The jackpot of this game would land the player 9012x their wagering stake. It also comes with a 4096 ways to win grid on a 6 reel slot.
Six games in such a short space of time are a good number, given how relatively new they are. We are unable to further add to this section, other than to say that the construction of these games is worthy of any award nomination, so most definitely check them out inside the best casinos online.
The Pros and Cons: So Far So Very Good

Verdict: The Future of Gaming 4 You
4ThePlayer really are approaching this in a bold new way, but will there be considerable pressure placed on them. There are absolute giants in the industry and the two co-founders will know of this, coming from already well-respected game-makers.
But, a new philosophy is always welcomed and there is nothing wrong with a bit of David versus Goliath stuff.
They have the clear know-how on graphics, sound, design and marketing. Not too much can be said now, as their games will have to do the talking for them. But, so far, the baby-steps for 4ThePlayer are quickly turning into a moderate stride.
